Complete transformer substations for railway electrical networks KTPZH-25...400/27.5/0.4 U1 are single-transformer substations of outdoor installation, powered by the DPR scheme (two wires-rails), and are used to receive electrical energy with a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 27.0.4 kV and supply it to linear consumers of railway stations, junctions, train stops, crossings and linear-track buildings in areas with a temperate climate (from -45°C to +40°C).

Climatic type U 1 according to GOST 15150.

Normal operation of the KTPZ is ensured under the following conditions:

1. Altitude above sea level - no more than 1000 m;

2. The environment is non-explosive, not containing conductive dust, aggressive gases and vapors in concentrations that reduce the parameters of the KTP to unacceptable levels;

3. Atmosphere type - II according to GOST 15150.

The KTPZH is installed directly near the railway support and is connected to the contact network using the RDZ-35 disconnector, which is installed on the support.

Substations can provide metering of active and reactive electrical energy.

The KTPZH has interlocks that ensure safe operation of service personnel. Automatic circuit breakers and fuse blocks are installed on the substation lines.
